I sponged first layer with clouds, second layer is Vellum DSP, last layer is birch trees. I saw a technique to take Gray color and smear on mat, spritz with water, lay trees on top to give color. I fussy cut the birds. Last added sentiment, deer and birds. Hard to see but I have a hill of white, to look like snow. Sometimes things look better in your head. TFL

This sure is a winter wonderland! I love the evergreen vellum paper behind your birches and deer. And those red cardinals give the perfect "pop" of color!

I don't see a winter wonderland very often here in the south but I sure do love seeing them any chance I can. This is a beautiful card. It's cooling me down after a very hot day!

What a lovely winter scene! I'm amazed that you fussy cut those birds - I would have thought they had been die cut - beautiful hand work on that. I like the softness the vellum adds to your wonderful winter wonderland. Very nice card.

Birch trees or Aspen where I grew up are my favorite trees! I love the rustle of the leaves in the breeze! But in winter they have no leaves, yet they are still beautiful! Your scene is bringing many fond memories. Your little cardinals really pop! That touch of red is great on the card!
