One look at my gallery and it is obvious that winter cards are not my thing. So, i did my usual approach when I am out of my comfort zone...i just start putting stuff on the cardstock. I sponged ink then used a stipple brush to pounce acrylic paint over the ink. I added some silver stickles for sparkle. It looked awful at this point, but it did look more like a painting then s card, do I made a faux frame with some winter foliage and attached it to a card. The inside says "wishing you a picture perfect holiday season". I hope you join us in this week's F4A challenge. TCL, Francie

Oh, wow! This is so gorgeous! What a wonderful sentiment you added on the inside. It most certainly looks like it should be hung on a wall! Looking at it would do the trick of keeping us cool on such hot days!!

You created a picture perfect Christmas card! I love the details of the process you went through! What a fantastic sentiment you came up with for your scene!

Wow, Francie!!! Your card looks like a framed painting! The scene you so cleverly created is outstanding, and the frame is stunning. Wow, what a remarkable job you've done for not liking to create winter-related cards. I am in awe of this, Francie!
