I have to get in the mood for Christmas and it always comes slowly and sneaks up on me. In July, Christmas is only a "ragged memory" of the Joy of having family together and that they come to my house to celebrate, and bring all their wonderful food to share and all their smiles. Christmas is a happy time and if "family" was not near, you can bet I would be inviting someone in the area who didn't have THEIR family near. But "right now" I sure am enjoying summer and my flower garden, but I will know when Christmas starts to sneak up, and get me in the mood.
Oops! I forgot to say howI made the card. I die cut the circle out of the red and placed it onto a white piece of CS. Then I added the die cut flower and the sentiment.

I agree, I'm enjoying summer. Especially since it is far too short these days with the kids returning to school mid August! However, you managed to make a beautiful Christmas card. So lovely! I've been staring at your red paper, it almost looks corrugated.

I'm not in the mood either, but I do like to get Christmas cards started in July. I hate the rush later! Anyway, girlfriend, this is a CAS beauty. I really like it.
