I smooshed a piece of tissue paper with Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers, and Antique Linen Oxide inks, then crumpled it up and glued it to a scrap of white cs. Next is an important step: I went over the tissue paper piece very well with my embossing buddy. Then I gently rubbed Versamark over the ridges created by the crumpling and heat embossed with silver. The silver is far shinier and more metallic in real life than in the photo.
I die cut a circle from my piece and topped it with a circular snowflake frame and some small snowflakes - all of that was die cut twice and glued together for more dimension.
I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment in Salty Ocean and popped the circle up on fun foam.
My card is also for the CAS Mix Up challenge for July to use tissue paper. The challenge is open until July 24th.

OMGoodness!! Love the background you have created! Gorgeous!! I am very intrigued with how you created the background, so if I go play today, guess what I'm going to do! A real CAS beauty!

What a stunning background that technique produced! I love the blue and silver and that pretty snowflake frame. Keeping this in my faves so I'll remember your technique!
