I have not pulled out my quilling papers in AT LEAST 15 - 20 years. And although I made quite a few cards back in the day, I never invested in a quilling tool. - The girl who taught me & my friends said "Bring a tool if you have one - if not and you have alot of patience, you can do it on the end of a round toothpick!" Well, way back then I had alot more patience than money so that's how I learned to quill! It still works for me today . . .

Oh wow - I am so impressed. Your quilling is gorgeous! I might have to bite the bullet and try to learn how to do this some day, but it looks so intimidating and time consuming. Probably I should just stick to stamping - LOL! You, however, should definitely quill more often. The results are stunning.
p.s. loved your comment on the chef. IKEWYM. As someone once said, never trust a skinny chef or a bald hairdresser. ;-)

Fantastic piece of art! I envy & admire your skill & talent for quilling Linda.
I resolved myself years ago my patience level for this is nil.... and that's after I realized my one and only completed cross stitched was more than I bargained for! :/
