This week's wtui challenge is to use strips. Well, I gathered the very narrow trimmings from die cutting the layers, attached them to some masking tape and did the inlaid die cut swap trick with the hello. I'd originally planned a blue element. Much prefer the strips!
This week's technique challenge was to do a double stencil trick. I couldn't leave it at that: After stenciling the first panel, I spritzed the stencil and printed the other panel-- Can you see the result on the back card?
I did the stenciling and printing in this week's colors, using the sketch challenge layout, eliminating some of the layers. The narrow vertical stripes aren't that clear on the back card.
How's that for doubling up?

Wow! A fantastic job with all those challenges! You created two beautiful cards. I love the background stenciling and love the tiny strips you used for your Hello sentiment. Nicely done.

Oh my, Brenda! You are so clever to use the pieces from a die cut for a strip! The card is so patriotic and beautiful. The one blue stenciling on the front card appears as fireworks! You did a wonderful job of combining so many challenges!
