I love the way scrapbook artists use shapes in their designs...I had a hard time deciding which shape I wanted to use, but ended up with the circle because of this cool layout:
Sticking to my goal of using a circle - it's kind of funny that I used a square card as the frame of my circular die cut! Well, it's because the little girl I met was drawing beautiful pictures on tiny canvas note cards which were almost square in shape. She seemed to prefer blooming flowers...so I decided to watercolor the die cut florals so the card would have a reflection of her style too! I added the "Fun" because she was such a pleasure to chat with. I also did some very loose stitching to inspire her to add sewing to her arts - LOL. I really hope she likes it! BTW at around 6 years old (I think), she was proud to be able to count to 5 in Arabic! WOW)
I hope you like this playful design, and will join our challenge this week. Believe it or not we're being inspired by scrapbook pages of all things!

I love the beautiful and playful design! It's fresh and sweet! I love your encounter with the young lady, and maybe she will be inspired to add some stitching to her art work!

Wow. I would be proud to say anything in Arabic. She sounds delightful. How fun you incorporated the challenge and the experience. Wonderfully cheerful and fun card, Audrie. Love how you captured the feel of those arrows in your pattern. Fun. Hugz
