I used crumb cake for the chairs. I weathered the chairs and deck with white ink, then different colors of browns. I used dimensionals to make the chairs stand out as they sat on the deck. One of the chairs has wood pieces missing to make it look old. I sponged in the water and added clear Wink of Stella on top of it. I sponged the sky to look like sunset.
I kept thinking these words:
I'm sittin' on the dock of the bay
Watching the tide roll away
Ooo, I'm just sittin' on the dock of the bay
Wastin' time

Your sunset it gorgeous and I love the sparkle you got to the water! The detail of having a slat missing is perfect . . .Lord knows that salty air is gonna rot the wood eventually!

SO many great details on this card! I love the faux wood deck and the way you removed pieces of the chair to make it look old. The shimmery water is great too!

I just love the weather look you've created. I also like the chairs. I've never seen the chairs before, who makes them? Lovely card, and thanks now I have that song stuck in my head. Lol
