I saw this technique using liquid pearls with a stencil and thought it looked pretty cool. The result gives you such a shiny background. I think I was able to capture that in my photo. Here are some tips for using the liquid pearls: MAKE sure your liquid pearls are flowing freely, if not use a needle to unclog (you will need big blobs of the liquid), WORK FAST, hold stencil in place with washi or masking tape, drop big blob of liquid pearls on top of stencil and use a credit card to apply, try not to mix colors too much or your design will be muddy, remove the stencil carefully so the cardstock doesn't tear. The liquid pearls start to dry rather quickly so again make sure you work fast.

You are so good at mixing formal and informal elements. The loose BG (which is gorgeous), the distressed font on the sentiment, and then who would have thought to put that classic lace border on this card!? And that strip of black and white washi tape... a small detail that really popped this up a whole level. Also love that gorgeous face! Entirely beautiful!
And I will have to try my liquid pearls on a stencil soon!
