Tough sketch challenge for me today. Most of my pieces ended up a lot fatter than they were supposed to be. I really love the end result though. I struggle with Wedding and Bridal Shower cards. I do fun, cute, and whimsical a lot better than I do classy and elegant.
I started with the bride image, which I decided would look best stamped in Rich Cocoa, because I didn't want her to have stark black hair. I colored her lightly with my Spectrum Noirs and added in Wink of Stella for her gown and veil. Then I added a liquid pearl earring and some liquid pearl centers to her flowers. Die cut her with the stitched rectangles die and found some nice kraft DP to mount her on. Found some other kraft DP for the larger BG and decided some embossed vellum would add some nice delicate detail. Finally, I stamped the sentiment and found a fun label die to cut it, sponged with Antique Linen, covered with Wink of Stella, and decided it needed a little bit of frame detail with gold gel pen. Then I snuck in a little puffy sticker for a bit of added interest. I just have so many stickers and I'm trying to actually use them up.
Finally a Bridal Shower card that I'm happy with!

But you do do classy and elegant because that's just what this card is. Love the patterned paper chosen for the BG and your bride is perfect in the Memento Rich Cocoa brown!
