Well.....I tried....I really tried.....but can honestly say I wish I lived near Karen Dunbrook so she could show me personally how she got such fabulous results. I did not have white acrylic paint so I did my 'white lines; with heat embossing of a SU bkgd. stamp. Since this was a bkgd effect, I am also entering it into the CAS challenge even though there are a few layers.

I don't think anything says CAS has to be only one layer - I think this is certainly what I would call clean. I think the white embossing looks super, so crisp that at first I thought it was some really fancy die-cut. I threw my first attempt out, but I don't remember having a lot of success with paint either so I think it's operator-error, and I'm in it with you, Joanne.
