I swiped my ink pads on a cling wrap covered cutting board and spritzed a bit of water on each color. I ran the edge of my card through the blue ink puddle then swiped vertically over my glossy cardstock. Cleaned my card, then picked up the yellow ink and swiped horizontally - quick easy bg done! Die cut my fairy & sentiment from irridescent black stock and adhered to my bg. (I have done this technique with acrylic paint but this is my first try with inks - I like the more "sheer" look achieved with inks. )

You make this sound so easy, lol. I seemed to have a harder time. Your card turned out great! the colors behind a fairy seem to be very appropriate! Nice!
