I saw this technique on Jennifer McGuires YouTube channel ( ) and decided to give it a try with alternating layers of black cardstock and glossy flower images from an old calendar. That way if it really bombed, I wasn't out my favorite paper! It was a bit time consuming (especially because this is my first try) but I like the look of it. I did pop my cutout layers up on foam to showcase the die cut a bit more, and I got to try coloring my lace with my SN markers. Then I decided to add the white crushed velvet ribbon because it would tie in with the white base card, and because I just love it! I bought it Tuesday at the Offray ribbon outlet in Hagerstown MD, for a whopping 25 CENTS! If you get to Hagerstown, visit the Offray outlet for sure! TFL
