This card is my #1 example for Roberta's colour challenge for this week (why not pop over and see what it is all about)
I really need to get cracking on my Christmas cards for this year so most of my cards from this point on will have a Christmas theme lol.
This is the second attempt at this card, the first time I wet the card and then stamped and ended up with far too much water and not the result I wanted.
With this card I coloured the stamp with the markers Old Olive for the leaves and Cherry Cobbler for the berries then spritzed the stamp with a fine mist of water using a Mini Mister and stamped. I then scribbled Tangelo Twist onto a ceramic tile and with one aqua brush, with only water, wet an area of the card then picked up colour from the tile and added colour to the moistened area on the card blending the colour out.
Finally I stamped the greeting in Tangelo Twist then over-stamped and clear heat embossed twice to give it some bling. I added the cord and pieced it all together and that's it folks.
Cheers
Marg
