This is for our Kids & Pets Ways to Use it Challenge today, and for Ina's Stamp2Spend Challenge for National Nurses Week. I knew this morning which stamp I wanted to use, but had it in my head it was a dog she was nursing. Ok, so it is a teddy bear. That is a pet, and that is my story and I am sticking to it. LOL Thanks for looking.

Grins, maybe she couldn't have a pet and this was her substitute. I always remember a book we used to have about a boy who dreamed and dreamed of having his own dog, even though he couldn't. And, so sad - I was visiting friends who were over in Ireland staying with their grandma. The littlest one was putting grandma's hens to bed and stayed out for ages and I went out to see if their was a problem. She told me that she wanted to wish for a pet for her birthday, but their neighbours (actually their landlords, living in the lower part of the building) wouldn't let them - not even a snake. So there was no point in wishing. It was heart-melting!
And so is your card...love that layout with the diagonal strip.
