Carla's challenge today was to create a card with kids & pets. I coloured this sweet Sarah Kay image I had downloaded already with Derwent pencils. Lightly sponged, while in die frame, with pink ink. I am trying to use up all the bits & pieces I have saved, and not used, such as these butterflies and the flowers.
I did not grow up with any pets but we got a grey kitten when the boys were very young and we named her Tinkerbell. She led a pretty charmed life!!

Sweet image and lovely coloring, Sue! Beautiful layout with the butterfly and flower. That cute little girl looks like she's straight from the 70's with her bell bottoms and patches. I wonder how many pets have been named after fairy tales. We had a Figaro when our kids were growing up. He looked just like the Disney version. Thanks for playing in the challenge and treating us to a great example of the love between kids and pets.

What a cute image! Colored beautifully too - I love the little kitty.

Sweet image! She reminds me of a little girl from the '70's with her bell-bottom jeans and pinafore. I like the butterfly and flower embellishments coordinating with the color of her top.
