Mary let us choose our favorite retiring colors - and I chose only two colors- these are my favs by a long shot. (not really sorry to kiss the cucumber goodbye.....bahahaa) For dessert this week, it was make your own background so I used this age old technique right here of stamping the outline on the watermelon cs....with stazon black. Then the SUO challenge blog this week was watercoloring - so this card works for both! I haven't used this black striped ribbon in ages, but it just cried out for it to me! I can hear some stampers saying they would have left the ribbon off, and if it was your card, you could have!! bahaha.....it's mine! Happy Tuesday everyone!!!

You can do whatever you want that makes you happy.....big bows, little bows or no bows. It's YOUR card.....as you stated. Striking card with the bright red posies.

I love the way you use bright colors, but end up with such beautiful cards!! They are never garish........they would be if I did that kind of coloring (My mother would say Oh my gaudy!).

Oh, Karen, you are too funny! I love it and love your sense of humor! You would fit right into my family back in the day when we four sisters were younger...laughing and giggling. Anyway, I love this card with your two colors, and what a stunner! Beautifully done, and I love the ribbon...truly! It's so you and really makes a statement! Hugs! xoxo
