I am playing along with the fun SC643 challenge today.
My idea was to create a bit of a Smokey Mountain sunset view but as often is the case it sort of changed as I created. I switched the sketch just a bit placing my circle near the top of the card instead of the lower portion!
Each layer was sponged with Clearsnap ColorBox Petal Point inks. The fun thing about these inks is that they stay on top of the paper for a slower drying time instead of being absorbed into the paper immediately so it's a snap to add clear embossing powder and heat emboss. The uppermost layer and the sponged mountain ranges were heat embossed which add fun texture and a great look!
The village die was a gift from my very sweet friend Janine (Jay_Bee). She gave me several beautiful dies when she visited last month. Wow! It's already been a month since they were here!

The mood is really set with this brooding night sky, Angela! The lighter blue of the houses gives the effused light effect of dimmed street lights. Totally cool!

Love your mysterious landscape! The embossed panels really give an interesting texture and more of a 'real' look (if you can figure out what I mean!) :-) Great take on the sketch - fantastic creativity!

The way you did the sky is sooooo cool! Love it. Especially love that you only did one layer with clouds. Very creative and fun, Angie. the colors go with the sentiment too. Hugz
