This is for Cathy's WTUI challenge this week - you'll be able to find out why HERE after the challenge is live.
For my main panel, I more or less used KellyJean's recent TLC babywipe background challenge. When dry, I stamped the wildflowers on it (and a little Gorgeous Grunge too), and distressed the edges.
For the layer behind that, I ran a piece of brown Core-dinations through the crimper in two directions several times and pulled it apart to make my faux suede - then stamped IO's Geologic on it to add a little texture. I added some gold mesh ribbon and stitched all round the edge before adding it to a white base.
To finish, I added the Chloe stem cut from cork (with Glossy Accents on the tips), and the bamboo cut from a scrap of polished stone, which I had made to cut autumn leaves from a while back. Both DH and I decided it didn't need a sentiment.

The faux suede and the gold mesh make such a striking bg. I love the earth tones on this card. You chose the perfect flowers, colors, and techniques for this gorgeous card.

Fabulous beauty! Ditto to all the comments about the visual interest and texture. I especially like the stitching encompassing the main panel. So many wonderful elements to peruse, lovelier IRL, no doubt!
