Barbara's colors had me stumped for a little while this morning, but her choice of travel for dessert reminded me that I have this digi that is perfect for her colors! It's a ship in a bottle digi from LePetiteMarket on etsy. But I wanted it to fill the whole page, so I blew it up so much that you can't see the bottle anymore. Then I colored with my Spectrum Noir markers (CR8, CR9, EB1, EB2, TN2, GT1, GT2, BT2, BT3). I printed out the greeting on kraft, shaped it into a tag and sewed it on with red thread for some added interest. Then I added some details in gel pen, Wink of Stella, and Glossy Accents. I finished by taking a nail file to all the edges of the ship panel to distress it a bit. I was finally able to make a card that came together really quickly, which is good because I have to get to work early today. I'm presenting Michigan auto results to a bigwig from New York this morning. Wish me luck!

Smart thinking on the blow up - this is sooooo cool. Love the stitching too. Fun, fun, fun! Hope the presentation went well - I am sure it did! I use to have to do presentations to visiting bigwigs - always made me nervous! Many hugz

Perfect, perfect! Your little ship looks so cheerful as it plays among the waves on its adventure. I love all the little touches, especially the red stitching. Adorable!
