This is for Carla's WTUI challenge which you will find HERE.
I've always wanted to try one of the Gel (Water) cards and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. I followed the tutorial linked above - biggest problem was that such small baggies are not standard here...I searched through my supply of ones that I have received goods in over time, and while the first two leaked, the third one was watertight. I layered it behind a window in a panel made with Hardwood stamped on faux wood, and edged it with gold card scored. Behind the bag I used a piece of white card embossed with a leafy ef inked with green, two little seahorses and some more underwater greenery. Since I bought my nephew a book called Oceanology for his upcoming birthday, I added a birthday sentiment and this has already been delivered to my brother for safe-keeping.

Awesome! Love the underwater scene. The wood-grain and round window looks like a porthole. The technique turned out terrific. The HB banner looks great. Well done. TFS

I have always wanted to do this on a card. I am so afraid when I send the card to someone it will leak or leak over time and ruin something. This turned out beautiful. Great job finding a baggie that worked.
