Hello, I'm you hostess for today's CC. I hope you enjoy the colors and can find some time to play along with us this week. I chose them because I fell in love with the top piece of dp on my card. Lost Lagoon, Island Indigo, Pistachio Pudding. Dessert: Dry or Heat Embossing.
I stamped my flower image on WC paper and colored using a blender pen and ink pads. I felt the flowers came out too dark so I added some white areas using a gel pen, and I totally like the results. For the stamen I used the pen and wink of stella to try something different.
I stamped the butterfly and colored a bit adding a smaller vellum one with rhinestones to the top; Love it! For the dp leaves, I stamped in VM then in pudding and added clear ep and heated then fussy cut. I added the butterflies also cut from dp, used my spritzer and placed all over fun foam. Thanks for stopping by today! ~Roberta

What a lovely card, Roberta! I love the elegant shape of the panel backing the flowers! I don't think they're too dark at all! Thanks for the pretty colors!

Oh, Roberta, what fun to read what helped to make your decision for this week's colors. It's a beautiful card, and this is one of those stamp sets that is a classic! I love how you've used it and the layout with this great die! Hugs! xoxo
