Today's challenge - No line watercolor . . . a very difficult concept for me but I did finally get an image that is (I Hope) still recognizable after a trash bin full of rejects!
I stamped the image on watercolor paper with soft stone wich left a very faint grey outline. Then following the tutorial I smooched my inkpads onto and acrylic piece and laid down the palest of base coats. Then dried the bruch & picked up full strengt ink for the deeper tones - so far so good but then came the struggle for me . . . . cleaned the brush again and picked up a bit of water to blend andt taht's where the struggle really began - I don't know if my brush was too wet or too dry . . . .but I had a very difficult time getting my deeper tones to blend out into the lighter layer. Framed my piece and added an embossed sentiment at the bottom.
I'm not sure if I'll ever use this technique again BUT at least I can say I tried! (Any helpful hints or tips will be greatly appreciated!)

I think your irises are lovely! I like how part of them came outside of the frame. Sorry, I have no tips to share as this is a difficult technique for me too. However, I think you did great!
