I started by cutting my poppies from Frisket and running the card through the Wizard to help it adhere. Then I used some re-inkers and baby-wipes to create the background (shabby shutters, wild honey, tumbled glass, squeezed lemonade). When dry, I stamped the HA script in Smokey Grey. Then I spattered white acrylic over. When that was dry I removed the mask, stamped the main sentiment and edged the panel with black. I was lucky enough to find a large unused piece of Brusho background I made a couple of weeks ago to die-cut the "prayers", which I went over with a Spectrum Noir clear glitter pen before adding to the card.

What a lovely bg you created, Sabrina....you always inspire me to try to find time to create. Making mixed media bgs is one of my favorite things to do. The colors and bits of white on this are so pretty. It reminds me of rainbow shrrbet.

Enjoyed reading your description, Sabrina. This is really lovely. Love the way the words peek out from that pretty background.
