I did this week's technique challenge using my Color Bursts, that I have only used once before! I put the powders on the watercolor paper, sprayed with water and then put on the cling wrap and scrunched it up and left it to dry. When I took it off, this was the background. I thought it could look like Undersea for U and Urchin for U (the gold gel pen in lower left) I wasn't sure what an urchin was but thought it might be the same as a seahorse. Haha, not! So didn't want to ruin the card but just put a little gold spiky blob down there. LOL So, that is my urchin, and that is my story and I am sticking to it! I used some green netting for the green and actually some of the other plants are done in greens, and one of the powders I used was lime green. So this is the universe under the sea with urchins for the double U challenge. Loved the technique. Thanks for looking.

Unique and fabulous! Love the Underwater universe scene. Ur modified technique to make the background turned out amazing! I want to try that. The netting on the side, the starfish charm, and the seahorse & bubbles are excellent elements to complete the look. The gold spot at the bottom could be the urchin. U did great! Love it. Into my favs. TFS

Somehow I missed your card, I'm so glad I caught it! I love the seahorse and the bubbles in black. They really stand out on this wonderful underwater scene.

What a stunning under-the-sea card you have made here Sharon. I am so tickled to read you used your color burst powders to make this stunning background scene. And the story of your journey in making this card is a total delight, and makes this beautiful card seem even more beautiful. You sure created a wonderful masterpiece for the letter U alphabet challenge my friend. Hugs! ~Karen.
