Sabrina's hosting this week's Ways to Use It challenge, WT627 Handwriting- Yes, You're Own! Yup, Sabrina wants to see our own handwriting on our cards. Bwahahahaha! Just to not scare you away from the challenge, illegible writing is definitely an option! I decided to challenge myself with just a wee little sentiment banner. It's a good thing I save the trimmed ends from cutting my own card bases. It took at least ten tries before I had a sentiment I was comfortable with. I've pinned several tutorials on hand lettering, I definitely need to practice!
I just love how SCS friends share images. This one is from Jan (heartsong47), thanks Jan! I've been having fun experimenting with colored pencils and gamsol. This sweet little bear worked out perfectly. I masked him and added some flowers behind his back and colored the image. Used a sketch from July 2015 and some of my paper stash. Die cut the frame and trimmed out the diagonal paper with a white scalloped piece.
Added my sentiment banner and a flower brad to finish. TFL

Darling card Carla...love your pencil/gamsol sky...so well done and that cue little bear, with his grassy knoll, flowers and butterflies are all beautifully pencil/gamsol colored as well. Your handwritten banner so very nice!
