Alice is late and so am I to Miss CarlaÂ’s terrific Tickle a Teapotter teaparty. I apologise for my tardiness and for making an almost identical card to SabrinaÂ’s wonderful patchwork tickle last December. Unfortunately time is not on my side this week, I hope it is ok to use this stash background and patchwork house.
When I made the card for Sabrina’s challenge, I made an A4 background and then cut it into panels. The first card was a 5 x 7”card, this one is 4.25 x 8”, there was a narrow strip left over so I added that to the inside of this card.
The background is RobinÂ’s great ironing spray technique with BrushoÂ’s. Distress inks have also been added here and there. The patchwork house is just a digi image printed onto photocopy paper, coloured with Priscmacolour pencils, alcohol markers and distress crayons.
Alice and her rabbit were fussy cut from a Graphic45 pad. I coloured the Alice image using distress crayons and pencils. The rabbit was already coloured. Looking at the photo, I forgot to cut the broom head properly, IÂ’ll have to fix that.
Thanks so much for looking. I hope you are having a happy, inky week.

I loved your amazing colorful Hobbit house before, but what a perfect move to put Alice there with it. This background does truly make it look like she is someplace magical and otherworldly.

Oh wow, wow! Susie, this is amazing. I don't think anybody would mind in the slightest that it's similar to the patchwork background, you've transformed it into a perfect Wonderland card. I got some spray starch last time I did a big supermarket shop, must try it with Brushos. It's actually on my to-do list for tomorrow, but I can't dream of achieving anything as gorgeous as this.

This is fantastic! Reminds me of a joke I heard long ago and don't know why I remember it. "Who said I'm late, I'm late? Alice did and her mother was just sick about it". I can't remember what I wore yesterday, but I remember that! DH says I'm a walking encyclopedia of useless information - he may be right.
