Roberta is our hostess this week and she has chosen blackberry bliss, daffodil delight, garden green and for dessert: bling! I have no Blackberry, so I substituted Elegant Eggplant. No dessert for me this week - just couldn't make it work. This also works for our CAS challenge: spring!!
I have used the method of inking up a scene stamp with multiple colors (using the MISTI), spritzing with water, stamping till you like the look, and then clear embossing over the ink - but haven't experimented much with this technique using a single, detailed stamp. I'm happy to say that I think it works just as well! The advantage is that, after embossing, you can sponge your background very easily since the image is embossed. After sponging, I also splattered diluted inks of the green and eggplant, and some additional diluted white acrylic paint. I love that look! Stamped the sentiment and assembled - stitched panel is popped up.
