This card took me all week and I kept on meeting the new challenges posted this week. I used two patterned papers (all papers already chosen before starting for S2S17G challenge) Wednesday's sketch was perfect for this. I didn't decide on the lace and flower until the very end, as I didn't want a heavy looking vertical piece. The poppies are for the garden challenge of the F4A366 of today and I chose my favourite stamp set, an acrylic set I bought very early in my stamping years. I bought it on e-bay for $1.00 plus shipping from China and it had no manufacturer listed. The set has several floral stamps. I inked the poppy stamp with tombow markers and touched up with tombows and copic markers as well as a few coloured pencils. The flower was in my stash, made from a buff coloured envelope a while back.

Wowza you were able to get so many wonderful challenges in this stunning card! I love the great stamp set you used that you got many years ago! I love it when we can pull out old sets and still create amazing cards. This turned out beautiful. Thank you so much for playing along and bringing a favorite.

Lovely birthday card! Terrific use of the sketch. Love the soft neutrals with the pop of pink. The glitter paper has a beautiful shimmer to it. The crocheted lace trim and flower are excellent embellishments. Well done with all the challenges, my friend!! TFS
