Hi all,
I thought I might not have time to do a card today because I'll be making card kits today but this is the card I'm teaching tomorrow and it is all stuff you could find in my yard (a few acres in the Sierra) at any given time. We don't really have a garden (too many critters around here who like to eat my garden!!) But in the spring I do have flowers that come up!!Lots of poppies, spring bulbs and a few hanging baskets. We have some half wine barrels in the front too that I usually plant with deer resistant flowers...Spring is more like May around here though so I have to wait a bit! Up in the high country (7-10,000 feet) spring is more like July so you see, the higher you go the later spring is.
This base (the fold-out card), is from Heartfelt but I'm making the card bases for my class to save on cost...trying to keep prices low for the people who come to class. It takes a full sheet of 12 X 12 and needs card stock with a price strip (to be used as a tab to glue both halves together since I don't have 24" card stock). This is not easily come by anymore as most paper manufacturers don't use it anymore but found some at Bazzill.
Heartfelt makes a die that cuts the curved edges and little borders so that part was easier than hand cutting them all.
You can find all the directions on my blog if you are interested HERE
Thanks for taking a peek!

It would be pretty fair to say I have run out of words to describe how beautifully you showcase these wonderful Heartfelt Creations stamps. Absolutely gorgeous mate.

Oh WOW - just blown away with this card. It is amazing. I just keep going back to it and finding so much more to look at each time. I love the scene when the card is folded up - and then to see what it is like when it is opened just takes my breath away. You are just so talented and create such beautiful cards.

Truly a WOW, Robin. You put so much of yourself into each of your creations. Love how this whole scene folds out....imagine part of it has to be done on both sides.

Wow Robin, I want to come to your class! This is a totally gorgeous card! I love the clear clean colours on your beautiful garden and forest panels. Looking at this I am immediately transported to a warm summer day. I love the green scalloped edges. Into my favs.

Very stunning garden Robin. I feel I could just walk in and hang with the darling animals. I love these fold out cards from HFC they really can add to a wonderful layout. Beautifully done! Have fun at the card class.
