WT624 It's My Favorite stamp, Stampin' Up's Serene Spring and one of the very first stamp sets that I purchased.
My grandfather had a large bird aviary and lovingly raised beautiful birds. I liked to let the birds land on my head and pick at my hair, silly I know, and Mom would have a fit, but I would just giggle and sit quietly and let them check me out while imagining what it would be like to fly.

This image is amazing and I can see why it is a favorite for you. Fantastic coloring of it too. I can only image letting those birds sit on me. I love butterflies and once went to a butterfly aviary and once inside they all started landing on me. Well I could not breath and started hyperventilating and had to get out. Oh I love them but apparently too many landing on me is not a good thing. Love your story of you and your grandma and how it inspired your beautiful card. Thank you for bring a favorite and playing along.

Beautiful! I still regret not buying this stamp set. Maybe I'll have to scope out the B/S/T forum and see if anyone's offering it... The CAS approach is PERFECT for this stamp, and I love the sentiment you chose. Beautifully colored, as well...
