Karen's colors today are Pool Party, Island Indigo, and Perfect Plum, and for dessert "make it golden".
These are tough colors for me to match. Especially the Perfect Plum--all my purples seem too bright.
Started off this card looking for some flowers to emboss in gold and watercolor but then there were these balloons looking for some love, just begging to be jazzed up.
So I stamped and embossed the balloons and watercolored with Spectrum Aqua aquamarine, teal and wildflower. But the colors just weren't right so I went back in and added some HB2, BT3, BT5, and IB1 from my Spectrum Noir markers. Also added some glittery washi tape to make it even more golden and finished off with some faux stitching using gold gel pen. My stitching is a little bit wonky because I had a two year old on my lap who kept trying to put the cap back on my pen. I'll miss these days.

This went right into my faves : ) I hardly ever reach for my balloon stamps because I find them boring; NOT your balloons! I love the soft watercoloring inside the gold embossed balloons and your layout is fabulous. Love the gold border and the borders you included on the inside of this card. I had to laugh at your comment about your "wonky" stitches; you will INDEED remember these days fondly : ) Wish I had a 2 year old on my lap right now!
