This is for Cathy's fun "shaped card" challenge. I began by modifying a really old overalls template.
I completely covered metallic cardstock with a good glue stick, then attached the dp. After drying overnight, I placed the new template on top of the covered card and cut out the front and back.
I distressed around the edges using the edge of my blade, then punched small holes at the shoulder edge and joined the back to the front using twine. Oh before I joined the pieces together, I trimmed all the edges with gorgeous ribbon (RAK from Jody).
I added some faux stitching with a fine brown micron pen and liquid pearl buttons.
Thanks so much for looking, it is great to be back getting inky.

Oh My gosh Susie, this is so stinkin cute I can hardly stand it. What a fabulous shaped card this is. You used the perfect dsp, lace, bows and buttons and completed the entire thing with wonderful faux stitching. This is going right into my favs! Congrats on this card winning in the favorites too! Hugs! ~Karen.
