Recently got clarity brushes and wanted to try them out. Also new purchase of the birch tree window die from Simon Says Stamp.
First cut the die with a piece of acetate to create a stencil. Then used just two colours of distress inks (Mermain Lagoon, Mowed Lawn) to add colour with the brushes. Went over the areas softly with the brushes, building colour towards the top and bottom. Added a heat embossed black sentiment banner and "You" die-cut.

What a glorious gradient in the background and love the even sponging (brushing) on this! The black sentiment looks beautiful on this as a finishing touch!

So soft and beautiful Loll. I love how you used your die to make a beautiful stencil. Those brushed are on my wishlist, but still on backorder. TFS my friend. Hugs.

Beautiful color transitions created by your brushes...clever to cut your die-cut with acrylic to make your own stencil. Very soft and pretty effect that you've achieved.

Beautiful......thank you so much for explaining your technique. Got the Clarity brushes for Xmas and haven't had time to play with them......or, possibly, too intimidated to give them a try. You have given me the needed oomph to give it a try!
