This is a card for this week's Teapot Tuesday challenge to feature a lighthouse. I used an old CHF lighthouse stamp and found an even older piece of Thomas Kinkade patterned paper, that is called 'Stormy Seas'. I stamped and coloured the lighthouse image and fussy cut it. Then I cut a slit into the dp, so that the lighthouse and rocks would fit into it where the waves were foaming. I added white gel pen to accent the waves and also added frosty stickles and some tiny clear beads to make the foam sparkle. I drew a horizon line (very faint) with a copic marker, to make the sky look even stormier. the right side of the paper was embossed and a sailboat ribbon attached as well as the ODBD sentiment that was die cut and two little stars added. When I took the photo, the sun was shining into my window and I think it made a lovely light across the card, so I left it at that.

OH I just love the capture of the lighthouses beauty and the mysterious deep clouds, but even more the bling on the water...love how that makes it shine so...very neatly done...TFs..:0)

really great card. love the stormy sea and the way you worked in the lighthouse image and additional elements. This scene brings back memories of stormy winter nights by the sea. I live in the high desert now and while I love it here - I miss the ocean and her stormy fits.
