This is for the Ways To Use It Challenge - Australia Day. Represent something from downunder. There are both marine and land turtles found there. I embossed my turtle and watercolored him with various greens and die-cut in stitched square. The background is watercolor paper. I tried Susie Australia's technique of smashing distress ink pads onto foil, spraying generous water, painting on paper with foam brush. I did that with yellow and blue together and got some green. After it dried, I prepared more blue and turned my paper over onto the ink. Interesting effect. Computer printed a well-used Australian phrase, die-cut into a banner and layered with two more for a wave effect. Mr. Turtle has no worries; he's just very laid back. LOL Fun challenge. TFL

Love the look on the turtle's face and the sentiment about his predicament! Great wavy dies you have used to create the "no worries" statement. Hope all is righted in his topsy turvey world.

Giggle! This is such an adorable card Diane. This upside down turtle with silly sentiment is just terrific! I loved reading how you made this gorgeous background. Like you, I am really inspired by Susie Australia too, but I am not as brave as you are in trying one of her techniques. You have made an incredibly card here Diane- I love it! ~Karen.
