G'day is the most popular greeting in the land downunder and the expression "no worries" is probably the most commonly used saying. Aussie are generally very laid back which is a good thing otherwise we might start to think about all the deadly creatures that live here.
Here's Jacko having a nap in his hammock surrounded by koalas (courtesy of a kids colouring page and Prismacolour pencils).
The background is the simple Smack & Squirt technique - smack distress ink pad onto al foil, squirt on a lot of water then sponge the inky water onto cardstock using a foam blending tool). I only used Salty Ocean and Mowed Grass.
Thank you for looking and I hope you get a chance to join in the fun.

This is awesome mate! I love it when you make one of these fun Sassy Cheryl cards!! You are brilliant with your characters! I love how you do your bg, I always just slap my paper down so no controlling the color. Every time i try to sponge wet paper it peels the paper! Got to get tougher paper I think! My paper is such a wimp!
I love the die trees and the Koalas you found too! I think I have to go investigate the internet for this challenge!! I don't think I even have a Kangaroo!
I love the way Jacko is not worried about the deadly things...he is so sound asleep! Not a care in the world! What do you do when you go caravan'ing, about all the deadly things? I had never thought about that before, jeepers! Now I have to worry about you!

Oh, sweet Sis, g'day, and Happy Australia Day! I hope it was a good one, and I'm so glad you missed the kangaroo! I absolutely LOVE this darling card with Jacko asleep and oblivious of everything around him...haha! And the darling koalas as the sweetest perched in the trees. You make the sweetest cards, but then again YOU are the SWEETEST! Big hugs, sis...love you lots! xoxo

Kids coloring page! Now why did I not think to grab my son's old coloring books! You are so super clever. Your hammock guy is so super fun and having the koalas hold him just tickles me. Thank you for all your help on the Smack & Squirt I finally was able to get it to work. It was all in the paper. I was so thrilled to see that Sabrina invited you to guest design today and just love your super adorable card. Thanks for the Aussie sayings. Learn something new every day. Your card is sure going to bring a big smile.

First, Happy Australia Day, Susie. This challenge has been so much fun finding out things about your wonderful country. Your card is the best, describing the sentiment. What I will always remember- how hot you had it on Christmas Day verses what we had. You go and have a GREAT day. TFS
