For Ky's MIX challenge, which I can't link to right now because it's gone AWOL (it's back MIX206. It was pretty much a free-for-all except for the mixed media component and we had to add a tag/bookmark/element which could be removed to show a hidden message. This might be a birthday card, whatever it's used for, I'll stamp a suitable message on the back of the bookmark.
I used the Layered Gesso Background for my main layer. Gesso, then I stamped the Verve sentiment in black, the heart in red and two feathers in blue lagoon. When dry, I added buff titanium and baby blue acrylic paints, and when they were dry, I rubbed in some metallic lusters. After that I used an SU mask and added the modelling paste. Edged it with gold and cerulean blue paints, after adding the little bit of trellis to hold the bookmark. Then I added some chunky gold EP. I also added some gold eyelets, just in case the bookmark might fall out the bottom. It's finished with two Spellbinders feathers and a paper button from my stash.
The bookmark was stamped and embossed on white card, washed with Twinkling H2O, coloured with Intense pencils, spattered, and Stickles for the blossoms.
Counting this for the WT challenge, since the Twinkling H2Os are definitely old (the eyelets, too), the new is the SU mask I used, borrowed is the technique tutorial and there's plenty of blue.

Sabrina, what an awesome mixed media card you created. Love the birds on the tag and the background is beautiful. How wonderful to see you use those eyelets. I have so many and need to find as pretty a way to use them as you did.

Sabrina - your mind works in such wondrous ways . . .the first thing I noticed is that you have pulled out your old stash of eyelets. I love the way they look scattered through out that delicate trellis. Your bg is truly amazing - I love the soft colors and I see something new each time I scroll up to look again. beautiful coloring on the bookmark too!

LOVE this! So many beautiful details peeking through the gesso. Love that lattice - such a smart way to contain the bookmark. Nice oriental feel - thanks for playing!

Stunning mix-media card...background work is enviable. Love, love all the detailed work you've put into this card...clever to use piece of trellis die-cut to hold your bookmark, which is also beautiful. Love the idea of using the gold embossing powder flecked and heated on the card surface...that is a great idea!
