Two sleeps to go...how exciting or how exhausting LOL. This is for Robin's fun 'Free For All" challenge.
In the days leading up to Christmas I always find myself cleaning out cupboards in search of the bowls and plates that only see the light of day during Christmas. While I am doing this, I always find something that I lost.
That little story is the inspiration for my card, let's face it, Rudolph only needs his red nose on Christmas Eve. Thankfully Henrietta found it!!
I have a big stash of the grey backgrounds I have been doing lately with black Dylusions Ink Spray and ironing spray starch. This piece was a bit bald looking so I smacked a blue distress ink pad onto al foil, squirted on water, then dunked the panel in it.
This card is a real Splitcoastie community effort. The dies are RAK's from Robin and Helen, the white gel pen from Jody and Henrietta looks good thanks to a tip by Carla - use a fine foam brush and black distress ink to fill in her light bits.
Thank you all for another wonderful year. I wish you all a Merry Christmas. Stay safe and keep warm / cool, the forecast for Christmas Day here is 38C / 100F.

I swear each of your cards is a new adventure..a magical journey...I love this!! That blue ink in the bg is PERFECT...it was just the right touch to soften your gray bg. And the red ornament-nose is so clever. WOW....totally a fav. BTW-thanks for passing along Carla's tip...good idea.

You never fail to mesmerize us with the incredible scenes you create with your imagination! I LOVE that she has Rudolph's nose. This is brilliant, Susie! Love that penguin. This is amazing and so magical!

Oh, sis, what a magical and beautiful card! I love the amazing background and how soft it is...truly fabulous at making these backgrounds. And oh I love the reindeer and the sweet penguin with your fairy holding Rudolph's red nose! Love that single touch of red! Keep cool, sweet sis, and I wish you and BIL a very happy and blessed Christmas. We are still warmish here (but nothing compared to your 100 degrees), and we are enjoying it with a lovely breeze. Love you lots, sweet sis! Always! xoxo
