To make this card, I cut a circle from watercolor paper with a circle die. I sponged Distress Ink Tumbled Glass around one side of the circle.
Using my MISTI, I stamped the branch image from AJVD's "Pine Branches" stamp set with Simon Says Stamp Jelly Bean Ink. I stamped the image again, though a second and third time with some ink from a dark green and brown Tombow marker, attempted to give the pine branch some depth. I then stamped the pine cone, also from the AJVD stamp set with Distress Ink Walnut Stain. I colored the pine cone with various brown Prismacolor pencils to attempt to give it some depth. I lightly painted some Copic white onto the branches and pine cone.
I scored around a square panel of watercolor paper and stamped the sentiment, also from AJVD, with Versafine Onyx Black. I then spritzed both the card panel and my image circle with Art Anthology Ice Spray to give the card some sparkle and shimmer which the photo does not capture.
Thanks so much for looking!
