I cut squares of plain & patterned paper and layered together for a Masculine quilted look. Embossed the boot with Onyx powder & punched it into a circle to spotlight it. Added the framed greeting and a black Satin bow crimped in the center with a western looking brad.

This is such a nice looking card!! I love the pieces of dp you used - they look great with your boot. Your ribbon has a great place on this card and the brad looks so good too. Nice job!!

Who would have thought that the patchwork quilted technique could work for a masculine card, but with the right dp's it certainly does, and you have just proved it! Nice mix of distressed dp's and shiny boots and brad~

What a fantastic western and masculine card, Linda! The papers you used to create the quilted look are gorgeous! And you used one of my favorite brads!! Great art!

The color blcoking is really nice and as a Texan, how can I resist a pair of cowboy boots.
