I made this as a birthday card and it uses my favorite technique- glass bead glitter gel. This also fits the alphabet challenge for the letter G (glitter gel, glittery leaves and gold sponging on the background). First, I sponge the gold ink onto the background. Then I place the leaf stencil where I want it and sponge colors through the stencil using SU inks. Leaving the stencil in place, allow this to dry for about 5 minutes. Then mask off any open area's around the leaf image with postit notes so you do not get glass bead glitter gel somewhere else on your card front accidentally. Once surrounding areas are masked off, then spread a thin layer of the glass bead glitter gel over the sponging you have done through the leaf stencil, and immediately remove the stencil and clean it with soap and water. The glitter gel is white, but it will dry clear and it actually intensifies the colors you have sponged in first. Let this dry overnight, then repeat for the 2nd leaf. This technique is so addicting that I never get enough of it. Maybe I am easily entertained! LOL.
