This is for the Inspiration Challenge – Decorative Dishes website. When I saw this platter, I thought of Thanksgiving, even though it’s not a holiday plate. http://www.decorativedishes.net/huge...-oval-platter/
I liked the autumn colors, the idea of a focal point in the middle with images around it, white background. I embossed the sentiment in gold and made that my focal point. I used an old Kaleidacolor rainbow pad for the large leaves, Cajun Craze for the smaller leaves and Chocolate Chip for the acorns. Then I added some speckle with Crumb Cake. The panel was layered on Cajun Craze, wrapped linen thread around and tied on a button. I attached the layers to Crumb Cake base. Thanks for looking!

I have one of those Kaleidacolour pads and I think I've only used 2 or 3 times.....was never really happy what I came up with. You used yours perfectly.....I love your card and especially the Kaleidacolour leaves!

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?

Love that button it is sure a wonderful addition to this card -- your bg leaves are awesome - really awesome! And the heat embossing verse really is the cherry on top of this card!!

Diane, this is really gorgeous! The gold embossed sentiment is fabulous and I love how all these gorgeous leaves are "falling" around it. The twine and rustic button are the perfect finishing touch on this wonderful fall card! ~Karen.
