One of my Christmas cards for the August challenge - arctic animals, etc., with a bonus of humor. No humor here, but I love this image and had to use it.
The image came from an old Christmas card that I scanned. There was a sentiment at the bottom, which I erased in Photoshop before printing on vellum. I stamped the sentiment and embossed with clear ep. I added silver Gelly Roll pen to the snowflakes in the image.
I cut the image to size and backed it with pale gray cs, attaching it with Sookwang tape. To hide the tape, I cut a frame from shimmer black cs using SB A7 Matting basics dies. I attached the image to the card base and added the frame with black foam tape.
As always, thanks for looking!

Gasp! This is 'take-your-breath-away' beautiful. Your computer skills really show here. Printing it on vellum was brilliant - softening the image. Adding the sparkle was the perfect finishing touch.

You can skip the humor when the image is as pretty as this one. The subtle shading behind santa makes him stand out. Not sure if that's in the stamp or you shaded a bit, but it is very effective! Love this Card!

Anything I do with vellum ends up in the trash....printing on it would smear if I did it. This is so pretty...I love the monochromatic color scheme....from someone who dies not like red and green together, Christmas cards are not usually my favorite. This is gorgrous.
