I was inspired by this image from our inspiration site today: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/136515432424757652/ I liked the color combination and the fact that these colors are often seen in layers like this in nature - but in a less graphic version of color blocking. First I masked for the moon, sky, and the sea and sponged, then I sponged for the sand and the grass. Completed the scene by stamping the weeds and ducks, the birds, and I added whitecaps to the sea with a hard bristle brush dabbed in white pigment ink. For the reflection of the moon, I spread the white pigment ink a bit with my finger. The ducks where an outline stamp, but I wanted a stronger silhouette. So I filled in the stamped outlines with black marker to create the silhouette, and with that same black marker I drew in a shoreline in the left corner.

Wow. Fantastic card! I looked at it for a long time.
All those shaded sections-the sky, the water, the sand, the grass with a reflecting moon and then the silhouttes. (sp) Really wonderful! Clever you to fill in the image to get what you wanted!

What an artfully done scene Maura! You have captured the moonlight on the water and sand so very well! I love your silhouetted geese and water plants! The highlights on the water and the swirling birds really bring your card to life! Gorgeous!

What a fabulous scene you have created here. I am truly impressed how you interpreted the inspiration piece into this fabulous card. I also love how you took the duck outline stamp and made it into a silhouette image. Very creative indeed! ~Karen.
