Shirley's challenge today was to use a dog on our card. This will be for my son-in-law who loves dogs. The boots a man wears says a lot about them...hard working men who keep this country strong. They can be factory workers, farmers, construction, truck drivers, etc. He is a pipefitter. Colored the image with india inks. Sponged with the walnut stain ink. It was missing something...thought of the extra shoe strings that are accumulating in a closet. Cut them to fit the card, and stained them with the ink. TFL

Im just now pulling my favorites list together and thought I should stop by and check out your gallery. I'm so glad I didn't miss this one. He's just adorable with those boots on the ground. I'm all about military service, so when I saw this image a few years ago I had to have it. Unfortunately, I've never been able to color it the way you have, so I've never uploaded any cards with this image. I am totally in love with your beautiful father's day card, Ms. TV personality.
