Writing letters is so old fashioned and we don't do it enough, how nice it is to receive a letter. There's a really old movie with Bette Davis and Joan Crawford, it's called, "Whatever happened to Baby Jane" and in it Bette Davis sings 'I'm writing a letter to Daddy'. That's the song I sang when making this card.

Ha, I do still write letters but mostly I type them, because otherwise by the time I reach a second page, my writing has deteriorated noticeably and must be harder for the recipient to read...and I like knowing what I said, too. What a great and inspired card, Kim - thanks for sharing the thought process behind it. Those soft colours and vintage lady certainly hark back to the great letter-writing days.

I have not seen the movie or heard the song but you have me intrigued and I think I will have to check them out. You are so right, I feel like I rarely get a good letter in the mail and my cards are one way I can keep the old style of nice hand written letters to friends. While old fashioned I enjoy it. Super stunning card and so antique looking too. Thank you for joining in on the Print challenge.

What a wonderful image you used........and that movie was pretty creepy as I remember (didn't she serve her sister a dead rat for dinner???)
