The last book I read was "The Nigthingale" by Kristen Hannah. Based in WW2 France, it is a story about sisters and how they dealt with the loss of their mother and then later the war. In their own way, they both become heroes. I will just say that one of them fights in the underground resistance...and has the code name of Nightingale....there is also repeated mention of blossoms...or lack of blossoms...as well as a string of pearls. Over all... there is a message of HOPE and forgiveness and love.
I think after that description, you can see it all in my card today!!

I certainly can see it all, and it's beautiful! I wonder if many know how terrible the Germans were to those who were found to be with the resistance? Not pretty. We still need hope today - more than ever. Being a part of a community like SCS enables us to continue to bring beauty and hope to those around us with the gifting of kindness through cards like yours.
