This is for Lee's fun CAS challenge - using either a hibernating critter OR something that keeps you cozy like a warm scarf or fuzzy blanket!!
I have used both, the tree house is warm and cozy and the critters are snuggled up inside. The door is shut, so you won't be able to see them.
I made this with the magic of a MISTI stamp positioner and Distress Inks. I started with smooth white card cut to 4" square. Stamp the tree house in MISTI using really faint ink. Remove card from MISTI but leave the tree stamp in place on the lid.
Mask the tree house - I have acetate masks that I store with stamp. Using Archival ink (not too black) stamp the background trees.
The background inking was done using Smack & Squirt technique (smack distress ink pad onto aluminium foil, squirt on a lot of water and swish and scrub foam blending tool over card.
I like the rectangular blending foam as you can put it on an edge and get really close to an image.
Remove mask and use an aqua brush to apply left over ink right up close to the image.
Once dry, return the card to MISTI and using Versafine ink, re-stamp the tree house.
Doodle border, add dotty tree stamp and dot on some white spots using Sharpie paint pen.
I hope this is considered CAS enough, the design is small albeit busy, but I purposely placed it on a large card base to give a lot of white.
Thank you for looking.

I love that the bears are hibernating inside....a little mysterious. Wow! You really know how to bring a card together in a fascinating way. I love to look for a while so I can see all your details.

Yep this card is definitely CAS to me - lots of white - he he. I just love reading about all the creative steps you have taken to create this magical scene. I just want to open the door of the little house and have a peek in side as I am sure you will have decorated it in keeping with the theme. I now have my MISTI - but haven't found the time yet to play with it.

Oh my, sis! This is just one of the most adorable cards, and I LOVE this "fairy" treehouse as Ellen shared (she's so sweet). And I always love reading your details and just would love to be with you and play. And I agree with Sallie that this is indeed CAS - "Creative Art by Susie!" You are a SCS treasure, and I love you and your work! What a delight and just so adorable and beautiful! Hugs, sis! (P. S. And, I do believe there are critters in there - somewhere - hehe!)
