This is for my daughter, a sympathy card. Her Dad died and he was always a surfer. Even now in his last days. This is how I remember him in his younger days. This is for the CC.
I w/c the soft sky onto w/c paper then did the crumb in the corner but not to happy with how that part looks. Then I took a dauber and made the curl with white. I added a small amount of clear glitter paste on top of the curl to look like a reflection of the sun on the water. I did cheat by using copper ep. I thought the black would be to sharp against the soft colors. I may try this again leaving off the sand.
Thanks for the challenge and thanks for looking.

This is lovely, Sylvia! I'm sure it will comfort your daughter & I'm so sorry you needed to make it. l'm sorry, too, because I'm sure you have memories, but I totally understand. I can't tell you how long ago my mom & dad last spoke.

Sylvia, what a beautiful card! You've captured the swirling water so perfectly. Getting caught up in the surf is beautifully created here. I am so sorry for your daughter's loss. It's never easy losing a parent. My regards to your family.

This will be such a meaningful card for your daughter. It is beautifully done. The surf is really evident from the way you've colored and shaded! Beautiful.
